With all the waiting and pining we’ve done for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” it’s hard to believe that it’s only three weeks away!

Lucky for us ? and our fellow “Twilight” fans ? MTV News is making the wait a little less painful by celebrating the film’s release month with tons of exciting exclusives, beginning with “MTV First: Breaking Dawn” Thursday at 7:56 p.m. ET, when Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will bring us a clip from the movie and sit down for Q&A on MTV.com.

In the meantime, we asked “Twilight” fans to vote for their top five favorite “Twilight Saga” moments, and we’re happy to announce the fifth favorite clip: Edward and Jacob’s tent scene from “Eclipse.”

In this delightfully entertaining scene, Edward (Pattinson) has to suck up his dislike for Jacob (Lautner) and let the werewolf snuggle with Bella (Stewart) in a sleeping bag in order to prevent her from freezing to death. It is a magical moment during which the two rivals share a few words of friendly banter and almost admiration, including the following quotes: “I’m hotter than you,” “Can you at least attempt to control your thoughts?” and “If we weren’t natural enemies, and you weren’t trying to steal my reason for existing, I might actually like you.”

In addition to re-watching that scene, there’s a great behind-the-scenes interview on the “Eclipse” DVD that features Pattinson and Stewart providing a hilarious bit of commentary about that scene.

“God, he’s so gross. So brazen!” Pattinson says in the clip. “I really don’t like Jacob.”

“Aww,” Stewart says.

“Look at him and his tattoo and stuff. Ugh,” Pattinson scoffs.

“He’s just young and overzealous,” Stewart adds, in defense of the young wolf.

“He’s not!” Pattinson insists. “He does it on purpose. He’s looking at me when he’s saying this stuff.”

Be sure to tune in to “MTV First: Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” which kicks off Thursday, November 3, on MTV at 7:56 p.m, followed by a Q&A with Kristen, Rob and Taylor on MTV.com!

The TeenNick HALO Awards are weeks away from kicking off, but the celebrities involved are already spreading the word. In a new PSA for the event, airing November 6, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, David Beckham and Jessica Biel have joined forces to let viewers know about the show.

“Anti-bullying became something that I am now very passionate about,” Lady Gaga said in a statement about being involved with the show. “I was bullied in school, and for a very long time, I kept those feelings inside. Today, I feel grateful and happy that I was able to get through these struggles and have friends, family and people around that inspired me ? people like Emily-Anne.”

Emily-Anne Rigal, 17, has been paired with Gaga thanks to her work to help stop bullying. She started the WeStopHate.org website, helping to shed light on the cause.

Swift will be paired with 19-year-old James O’Dwyer, who started the Magnolia Disaster Relief, an aid program that aims to offer relief to rural areas hit by tornadoes.

“I think James and I have a lot in common, and I’m really glad I got to meet and surprise him at my concert,” Swift said. “Judging from the things he’s been able to accomplish, he’s one of those people who does the work without looking for or taking any of the credit.

“What really impressed me about James is how he stepped up to the line as soon as he heard that people were in trouble,” she continued. “He saw first-hand how their lives had been destroyed and instead of getting frozen in that moment, he posted a message on Facebook to rally anyone who could bring supplies and food to those who lost their homes in tornados.”

Meanwhile, Biel is paired with Shanoah Washington, an 18-year-old who created the Sista2Sista program, which aims to motivate young women. Finally, Beckham was paired with Kyle Weiss, 18, who started the organization FUNDaFIELD, which builds soccer fields in Africa.

The show will be hosted by Nick Cannon. It all takes place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 26. The broadcast will air November 6 on Nick at Nite, with an encore November 7 on TeenNick.

Don’t miss the TeenNick HALO Awards on Sunday, November 6, on Nick at Nite.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries said “I do” in an elaborate, very public ceremony over the summer, and now comes word that the reality starlet and her basketball player hubby are calling it quits just 72 days after tying the knot.

TMZ reported that Kim filed for divorce from Humphries on Monday (October 31), coincidentally the scariest day of the year. Sources told the site that Kim is not seeking an annulment and cites “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the split.

The couple reportedly have a prenuptial agreement and celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser has been tapped to represent Kardashian. According to TMZ, the pair’s $10 million wedding cost approximately $138,888 a day as of October 31. A rep for Kim had not responded to MTV News’ request for comment as of press time.

However, Ryan Secreast, who produces the reality star’s E! shows, confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.”

The news comes as several tabloids have been reporting on Kim and Kris’ marital woes. Kardashian and NBA player Humphries married on August 20 in California in a lavish ceremony in front of friends, family and E! cameras. “The dresses were so gorgeous, and watching those beautiful girls walk down the aisle … they are absolutely stunning,” guest Julianne Hough gushed to MTV News after the ceremony. “To just see them walking down the aisle was just beautiful. And then little Mason, Kourtney’s little boy, he kind of stole the show.”

The beginning of Kris and Kim’s marriage will be documented on the second season of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” which kicks off on November 27. In previews for the show, fans have gotten a peek at the short-lived marriage. “How am I going to have my career and live in Minnesota?” Kim asks Kris when he suggests they move to his hometown. His response? “Baby, by the time you have kids and they’re in school, nobody will probably care about you.”

Even with a galaxy of big stars on hand to honor former President Bill Clinton on his 65th birthday, it was, of course, Lady Gaga who made the big headlines Saturday night at the four-hour Clinton charity fundraiser, “A Decade of Difference.”

Emerging on the stage from an all-white tree house, Gaga sang a sedate, unplugged version of “Born This Way” on keyboards, while wearing a giant cloth hat and flesh-colored cape over a similarly colored top and leggings. The backing track soon pumped up and a group of dancers came out as Gaga made her way down to the main stage and sang the line, “Don’t be a drag, just be a queen,” while the former president and his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, clapped and smiled along.

Wearing a blond wig, Gaga paid homage to Marilyn Monroe by changing some of the lyrics to “Bad Romance” to “Bill romance,” prompting the president to later declare, “I thought, ‘My God, I get Lady Gaga, and I will have a heart attack celebrating my 65th birthday.’ ”

“Well, I’m having my first real Marilyn moment,” Gaga joked after the opening, running her fingers through her mane. “I always wanted to have one, and I was hoping that it didn’t involve an accident with some pills and a strand of pearls, so here we are.”

Gaga’s set also included a run through “Edge of Glory,” during which she said, “I wish you were playing sax with me tonight, baby,” an homage to late E Street horn man Clarence Clemons, who played on the song, but a quip that Clinton could have also taken as a nod to himself, as he’s also known for blowing a mean sax.

The show took place at the Hollywood Bowl to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Clinton Foundation and, though his birthday was on August 19, Clinton was still feeling very thankful for all the fuss.

“I am the only person in history who got to be president and then had a post-presidential birthday party attended by both Lady Gaga and the secretary of state,” Clinton said to the crowd, which included such stars as Colin Farrell and Chevy Chase. “I want to thank Hillary because we met 40 years ago this year. When I met her, she was already doing the kind of work you see here long before it was cool.”

Also on hand to fete the former president was Stevie Wonder, who performed “Superstition,” “Sir Duke” and “For Once in My Life,” and U2′s Bono and the Edge (accompanied by a laptop), who did acoustic versions of “Desire,” “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “One,” “Staring at the Sun” and “Miss Sarajevo.” The pair also unveiled the first-ever live version of “A Man and a Woman” from 2004′s How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, dedicating it to Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky.

The U2 singer praised the former president for his work in helping to broker peace in Ireland, saying that “at the top of the list” for playing the gig was the fact that his homeland is “truly at peace, north and south, because of the 42nd President of the United States of America,” whom he dubbed the “most beloved president since JFK for us Irish.”

Usher made news because he danced so hard that he split his pants during a mini-set that included a cover of the Joe Cocker take on the Beatles’ “With a Little Help From My Friends,” as well as his own “Yeah!” and “OMG.” Also performing were Colombian pop star Juanes, country singer Kenny Chesney, Grace Potter and K’Naan. Among the celebrities on hand to make introductions were Ashton Kutcher, Ellen DeGeneres, Jason Segel and Maria Bello.

Jon Bernthal, who stars on “The Walking Dead” as the disgruntled Shane Walsh, ended last week’s episode with his back against a wall, zombies literally nipping at his heels and no allies in sight, save for an overweight burden named Otis (Pruitt Taylor Vince) ? the same man who accidentally shot Carl (Chandler Riggs) during a hunting accident gone wrong. Their mission to find medical supplies critical to Carl’s surgery was all but doomed, but Shane found a way to survive ? it’s just a shame the same can’t be said for Otis.

In order to flee an oncoming horde of flesh-hungry walkers, Shane shot Otis in the leg and abandoned him on the street after a violent scuffle, distracting the undead army with a hefty human meal as he escaped with his life intact. As a result, Shane made it back to Hershel’s farm in time to bring the necessary tools for Carl’s surgery, but not without sacrificing a huge chunk of his humanity in the process.

Shane’s decision to murder Otis to save Carl’s life (not to mention his own) is certainly a divisive one, but you can’t say Bernthal didn’t warn you about his character’s dark turn.

“[Shane has figured out that] things like guilt, shame and trying to do things that are morally right are far less important and really have no place in this new world compared to surviving and doing what you have to do to stay alive and protect the people you love,” the actor previously told MTV News. “If you’re with a group of people and you’re trying to survive and one person is holding you back or slowing you down, in this world, the right thing to do is to help that person and bring them along. In [the world of 'The Walking Dead'], the right thing to do is to kill that person and send them away.”

Killing Otis certainly lives up to that philosophy, if nothing else. But the character’s death is controversial for another important reason: Though he only appeared in two episodes of “The Walking Dead,” Otis is alive for more than 20 issues in the comic book series created by Robert Kirkman. His death proves that the television series is more than willing to veer away from Kirkman’s source material ? and it’s largely a result of the continued survival of Shane, who is dead in the comic books during the Hershel’s farm story.

“Shane’s presence in the show in general is one of the things that excites me the most about working on the TV show, because to a certain extent, I’ve told these stories before and I did them my own way in the comic book,” Kirkman, who executive-produces “Walking Dead,” told MTV News. “I work on the TV show, I’m in the writers room, and it’s fun for me to look at it as a do-over. I can fiddle with things. I can play George Lucas, if you will, and I can think, ‘Well, what would happen if Shane had lived? How would that change things?’ ”

Otis learned the hard way just how much can change because of Shane’s stay of execution, and Kirkman teased that the deadly changes are far from over.

“Shane’s presence radically alters a lot of different things,” he warned. “Seeing how things are changed by his presence moving through the second season is a lot of fun for me. It ends up bringing in a lot of interesting twists and turns as you’ll see from watching the season.”

Are you surprised by Shane’s actions? Let us know in the comments!
